The Work Sharp Culinary M3 is a modular sharpening steel, consisting of a handle and two sharpening steels. The two steels are made from ceramic and diamond. The ceramic sharpening steel has a smooth side and a ribbed side. Use the ribbed side for the coarser grinding work, then refine the edge with the smoother side. The diamond sharpening steel is tapered, so you can also use it to sharpen bread knives.
